Je na sijhaantoee daayam dero venden janam amolak haar;

If you do not know the eternal abode, you will go losing (the objective of this precious human life;
If you do not know the eternal abode, you will be subjected to severe beating by the Angel of Death; If you do not know the eternal abode, O' insignificant, imprudent one, you will wander in wilderness; If you do not know the true abode, you will suffer through countless lives. O' man, if you do not know your eternal abode, you shall have to undergo the cycle of birth and death; Avtar says, the True Master reveals the eternal and the real abode. |
Meaning
This verse describes about the reasons of why we should know our final destination. If you do not know the final home of your soul (eternal abode), you shall loose the real aim of birth in the human form. You shall have to bear the pain of death. You shall take birth and rebirth in different forms. If you do not know the real home, your soul shall experience the cycle of 84 lakhs birth and deaths. Means you shall have to undergo the cycle of birth and death again and again. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, the True Master reveals the final and the real home.
